At VPX, "Inner Work" means when you are faced with a challenge or decision- you go inward first.

It's automatic to us in this day and age to research, poll, or get advice first. At VPX, we guide members in Google-ing their heart and mind first (Inner Work), then act accordingly (Outer Work).

Inner Work is reflective to create awareness and insights about your inner beliefs, thoughts, emotions and desires. It means asking what do I *really* want, what is this really about, who do I *really* want to be? There are more tangible questions in each situation, but that is the general idea. 

Outer Work is the action you take as a result of the inward answers/decision. 

While other people can certainly contribute by offering advice or ideas, the value of their input largely depends on the timing and context in which it is given.

The reality is beliefs and thoughts about yourself drive your emotions and feelings, which drive your actions and behavior, which drive results. Most people and programs focus on actions and results only. This approach only works temporarily. 

VPX focuses on the whole equation end-to-end. Let's put this into practice with an example: 

Two leaders are given feedback to communicate more effectively and clearly to their team about their vision and strategy.  

Leader A is in a role that isn't a good fit and naturally feels stuck and apathetic. 

Leader B loves their role but is completely overwhelmed by all of it. 

Traditional approach: Treat both leaders the same in a "training" by telling them communication strategies and what they should be doing. 

The VPX approach: Identify and solve the core challenge with Core Energy Coaching methodology.

For leader A that could be solving the real challenge of feeling conflicted and frustrated about their current role. This inner work can unlock their ability to create choice and options for action to solve for communication.

Yes! VPX members can book time in a Workspace with a VPX Coach to work 1:1.

Members who connect during Exchange breakouts have the option to form small groups focused on a specific goal or topic. These groups can either schedule a session with a VPX Coach to guide their Workspace towards achieving their objectives, or they may opt not to involve a VPX Coach in Workspace activities.

The Vault and Exchanges are the core components of VPX. 1:1 and small group sessions are offered for anyone seeking more personalized support and accelerated outcomes with VPX Coaches. Both require an additional investment.

You get to decide how much time to invest based on what you want to get out of it. 

Generally speaking - we suggest attending a weekly 60-minute session. Aim to lean in and be present- listening to others and applying concepts to your own life and business. The asynchronous work on your own will likely vary per week and the challenge/opportunity you're currently working on.

You always have the option to join a second session on the same topic for varied conversation and collaboration. No RSVP needed—join as you wish.

VPX's Vault allows you to access resources on your own timeline and pace anytime.

The VPX community is centered around a collaborative ethos where leaders engage in judgment-free conversations and focus on outcomes.

Members participate in weekly expert-led live exchanges (sessions) and have options for deeper engagement in breakouts.

Therapy, psychotherapy, or counseling, focuses on mental health and emotional healing. With mental health treatment, a medical diagnosis is established and a treatment plan is created to assist with treating a mental health concern. Therapy often focuses on processing past events to assist with transitioning a client towards a healthy level of function. The therapist is viewed as the expert, who is clinically trained to treat their mental health disorder.

Core Energy Coaching is quite different in that it is present and future-focused, only exploring the past if it will help with understanding their current life. The coach is viewed as a partner, not a top-down expert, in helping clients identify where they are, where they want to be, and how to get there.
